The CIA Triad
- Confidentiality: Protecting people, assets, and information from unauthorized access. This is achieved through measures like access controls, CCTV monitoring, and patrols.
- Integrity: Ensuring that data is accurate, consistent, and has not been tampered with. Mechanisms like digital signatures and checksums help maintain integrity.
- Accountability: Setting clear expectations and roles, taking ownership of actions and outcomes, being transparent in communication, and establishing a system for feedback and consequences.
